These terms govern your use of BébéDécrypte. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What BébéDécrypte is
BébéDécrypte is an independent European editorial rating service for infant food (baby pots, infant formula, cereals, pouches, biscuits). We score each product from A to E based on eight weighted axes: NOVA ultra-processing, EFSA additive risk (baby-tuned), added and hidden sugars, official Nutri-Score, organic certification, allergen transparency, French manufacturing origin, and recipe simplicity. We cross-check the RappelConso feed for active recalls. We are not a medical practice, a food manufacturer, or a marketplace.
Not medical advice
Content on BébéDécrypte is informational only. It is not a substitute for a consultation with a paediatrician. For any allergic background, growth monitoring, cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA), special diet or medical question concerning your child, always consult a licensed paediatrician or registered paediatric dietitian. Our content is reviewed by Dr. Claire Vasseur (paediatric nutritionist, DU Paris Descartes).
Product recalls
We sync the RappelConso / DGCCRF feed daily and flag any affected product with a red banner and the recall motive. We do our best to react within one hour of a recall being published. If you spot a recall we have not yet surfaced, email us at contact@bebedecrypte.com. In case of a life-threatening recall, always rely on the official DGCCRF publication and your paediatrician, not our site alone.
Accuracy of grades
We work hard to keep our grades accurate and up to date. Manufacturers reformulate, and our database may occasionally lag. Always check the official label on the product you buy, and email us if you spot a discrepancy.
Affiliate links
Some product pages include affiliate links to external retailers. When you click a link and purchase, we may receive a small commission. This commission never influences our grading. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every affected page and on the /affiliate-disclosure/ page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape data at scale, reverse-engineer the algorithm for commercial resale, spam or harass other users, impersonate anyone, or introduce malware. Violations may result in account termination and, where relevant, legal action.
Intellectual property
The BébéDécrypte name, logo, methodology, database, product analyses, and editorial content are owned by BébéDécrypte or licensed to it. You may quote short excerpts with a link back, but you may not republish full pages or tables without written permission.
Liability
We try to keep the site useful and reliable but we provide it 'as is'. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, except where your statutory consumer rights allow you to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes are highlighted in the footer for at least 30 days.
